Your grid data stays yours. Your grid stays in your hands.
Prelko needs load data to forecast, and nothing that lets it operate equipment. This page sets out what we use, how it is protected, and where the line sits.
Three kinds of input. Nothing more.
Load history
Interval load from SCADA historians, meter data systems or sub-meters, plus the network or site hierarchy it belongs to.
Weather feeds
Observed and forecast weather for each site's location, sourced and managed by Prelko.
Demand signals
Tariff periods, holidays, planned outages, demand-response events and, where relevant, renewable generation output.
Forecasts are derived by models trained on these inputs for each of your sites. Models learn from your data to forecast your load; your data is not used to forecast for any other customer. Prelko does not need consumer personal data - aggregated feeder or site load is sufficient.
Yours to take with you, at any time.
You own your load data and the forecasts produced from it. Both are exportable in open formats whenever you want, not only when you leave.
- Full export of raw inputs, forecasts, alerts and reports as CSV or through the API
- Retention for the life of your subscription, with configurable limits
- Deletion on request at the end of the contract, confirmed in writing
- No sale or sharing of your data with third parties for their own use
Stated plainly.
| In transit | All traffic encrypted with TLS 1.2 or higher. Data feeds use SFTP or HTTPS only. |
|---|---|
| At rest | Databases, object storage and backups encrypted with AES-256. |
| Access | Role-based access per workspace: viewer, planner, operator and admin. Only operators can approve recommendations. |
| Authentication | Individual accounts, multi-factor authentication, and single sign-on for Utility deployments. |
| Audit | Logins, configuration changes, exports and every recommendation decision are logged with user and time. |
| Internal access | Prelko staff access customer workspaces only for support, with your permission, and it is logged. |
Prelko forecasts and recommends. It does not control.
Prelko has no write path to SCADA, EMS, ADMS, BMS, inverters, breakers or any other control equipment. Connections are read-only by design. Dispatch recommendations are advisory: they are approved and carried out by your operators, in your systems.
No control commands
No set-points, switching or dispatch instructions are sent to equipment.
Read-only connectors
Historian and meter integrations export data out; nothing flows back in.
Human approval, always
Every recommendation needs an operator decision and expires if none is made.
