Prelko
Industrial & commercial operators

Stop paying for one bad hour all month.

A single interval above contract demand can set the demand charge for an entire billing cycle. Prelko forecasts your facility load, warns you hours before a breach and recommends which processes, chillers or batteries to move.

Where it fits

Facilities where load is large and timing is money.

Manufacturing plants

Furnaces, compressors and batch lines with schedules that can move by an hour or two.

Cold chain & data centres

Cooling load driven by weather, with thermal mass that can be used to pre-cool.

Campuses & commercial estates

HVAC-heavy portfolios where afternoon temperature sets the monthly peak.

Multi-site portfolios

Dozens of sites on different tariffs, forecast and monitored from one console.

Demand-charge optimization

Keep maximum demand where you contracted it.

Prelko forecasts facility demand at the same interval your meter bills on, compares it to your contract demand and tariff bands, and tells you early enough to shift load rather than shed it.

  • Interval forecasts aligned to your billing meter and tariff time-of-day bands
  • Breach alerts against contract demand, with lead time and expected overshoot
  • Recommended process shifts, pre-cooling and battery discharge, ranked by impact
  • Month-to-date maximum demand tracking, so one interval does not surprise the bill
  • Estimated demand-charge exposure for each forecast breach
Levers on site

Recommendations your plant team can actually run.

Process scheduling

Move batch starts, compressor staging or pumping to intervals with headroom, within the production windows you define.

Thermal pre-conditioning

Pre-cool buildings or cold stores before the afternoon peak, using thermal mass as storage.

On-site storage & generation

Battery discharge and captive generation scheduled against the forecast breach, not against a fixed timer.

As on every Prelko deployment, recommendations go to your energy or plant team for approval. Prelko does not operate equipment on site.

Coordinating with the utility

Your forecast and the grid's, finally in step.

Large consumers are often asked for load schedules or enrolled in demand-response programmes. Prelko produces the schedule, tracks the event and reports the response.

Load schedules

Day-ahead drawal schedules generated from your forecast.

Demand response

Event windows planned against expected baseline.

Response verification

Delivered reduction measured against forecast baseline.

Portfolio view

Every site's schedule rolled up for the account team.

Industrial & commercial questions

What data do we need from our facility?

Interval data from your billing meter or main incomer, ideally 12 months. Sub-meter data for large loads such as chillers or furnaces improves the recommendations.

We only have one site. Which plan fits?

Starter covers a single site with core load forecasting. Growth adds peak detection and recommendations across multiple sites.

Does Prelko connect to our BMS?

Prelko reads from BMS, SCADA or metering exports. It does not write set-points or control equipment.

Find the interval that set last month's bill.

Share a few months of meter data and we will show which intervals drove your maximum demand, and how early Prelko would have flagged them.
